Uprev Tuner in NH, ME or MA needed
I'm looking for a good experienced tuner in the Southern NH, ME area. Near Boston would be OK too. I've been doing some research and Synaptic 3 Performance is close by but I've called them several times and left message and emailed them without a response. Any referrals would be greatly appreciated.
I'm In Boston and choose an Etune, Tells you something! So no one
I can put you in touch with him, Great tune!
I had the same experience with Synaptic 3 Performance also.

What about Kaizen Tuning or Granite State Dyno? Anyone used either of them to have their G tuned?
How does the e-tune work? You tell Uprev what mods you have, build maps on-line and they send you a cable pre-loaded with those maps? Anything else I need to do? I assume that's a safe way to go, but wouldn't a dyno tune be better.

Granite State Dyno got back to me and quoted $500.00.
Kaizen Tuning quoted me $650.00.
Both said they've tuned many Z's and G's with Uprev. Anyone used either of them? Experience? Other recommendations in my area?

Synaptic 3 got back to me and I like what I heard. Also a few friends recommended them too today so I'm sold. I'll be going there, but they can't tune my car until the beginning of January. I'll post before and after dyne runs and give a review after the tune.
Sure ,
You buy the cable and license from the tuner like normal, You down load UPREV to your laptop. They send you a base map, and your stock MAP. You load the base map go out and log 3 runs send the logs back and the tuner makes adjustments and send it back, Depending on the tuner it can take less than a week, mine was or like over a month and never finish. I started with one tuner took FOR ever I got impatient and went with someone else. All I can say is if you doing this contact Seymore( member) he'll help you out.
All in all when done I have 3 maps( I didn't need 5) I have my tuned map, Valet map and a Kill map. Very happy with it,

Yea ACE looks good but German cars , Site only has BMW's and Mini's, You have to go to someone that's tuned Nissans before ? We all know the Nissan platform is a little tricky ;/

I will let you guys know how my trip to Synaptic 3 Performance in Candia, NH goes the week of January 7th. They have a Mustang AWD Dyno so my numbers will be a little on the low side, but I just care about improvement over the baseline and the feel of the car. This spring I'll bring it to Epping and rip it down the 1/4 a few dozen times.
