I'm new to the G37 community but eager to get with the program. Recently purchased 2013 G37x and have been bitten by the performance upgrade bug which leads me here. I've done the following upgrades: 2.5" custom exhaust (cat back) with magna flow mufflers, Z1 perf. cold air intake, Hotchkis front and rear sway bar kit. and strut tower cross brace. I purchased a Bully Dog platinum tuner and it hasn't done any good and apparently without a custom tune it never will. While I hate to waste money, I don't want to chase the solution to the problem with more money and never get satisfactory results. My question is do I dump the tuner and get it professionally tuned or can I work the programmer and get a reputable person tune it. If someone can help I would be grateful

 

Bully dog is trash and you should throw it where it belongs (in the trash).

Get a dyno or e-tune and you'll be set.

 

Sell it and go with either UpRev or EcuTek and tuner of your choice.

 

While on my way from a lousy fishing trip in So Cal I stopped in Costa Mesa at the Stillen headquarters and picked up an oil and transmission cooler. Apparently they are an important adjunct to the Stillen supercharger that I also purchased. This will address any ECU issues once installed and programmed. This should solve any issues and be a decent bit of fun. Giggity, Giggity, OH! YEAH!
