Uprev tune with a Bullydog GT Tuner?

Have 2009 G37x sedan with Takeda Long tube CIA and bullydog tuner. Love the bullydog because it remove WOT restriction and can increase or decrease idle and timing. Curious if an Uprev tune would work and still allow me to use the Bullydog?

Nope, the uprev doesn't allow any other tune on your ECU. Handhelds are incompatible with the uprev tune, which isn't usually a problem. The uprev tune will take care of all that stuff anyways.

Thanks for the info, does that mean that I won't be able to use Bullydog as a gauge (i.e. intake temp, transmission temp, etc.) also then?

Hmmm, that I am less sure of. As long as you don't try to program anything it might work. How does the bullydog work? Does it plug into your obdII port to read that stuff?

Yes it plugs into the obdII port and is powered by fuse panel.

70% chance it'll work. Don't try to install the tune from the handheld and it'll probably be fine as a gauge.

I did this for a while until I went Force Induction. The Gauges worked fine even without the tune. Although there are plenty of other options for viewing information rather then having a bullydog.

Look up Bluetooth OBD2 connectors. Usually cheap and can connect to any apple or android device and view all stats too.

There is even some people on here that have it wired so they can see it on their navi screen.
