computer chip!

Hey you performance experts. Is there really a chip that's worth buying that will give me lets say 50 more hp or more where my mileage wont drop considerably or cause any other bad unintended effect? real life advice/actually having one please.

The best route is always to get dyno tuned....I've heard the e-tune is iffy also you may want a back up ecu if you daily your car.depends on the route you take....and then the most expensive way is to get a stand alone ecu. Good luck

No. No such product exists. There is no sort of “computer chip” performance enhancer device whatsoever.

Well, there is, but not at the level that OP is talking about (OBD2 dongle). You could replace the ECU with a Haltec, or Motec, and there's probably Japanese applications like an AEM replacement computer or Greddy e-manage. Those are effectively replacing the 'chip'.
