I'm not as worried about the Dyno because with the 3:7 gears, Quaife lsd, and everything else they butt Dyno is sweet. They one thing I'm not crazy about, and maybe it's because I'm old is the rasp when I punch it. Moncef suggested a different y pipe and I may be interested if it will make my sound deeper. I have looking at ISR Y pipe but don't want to drop 200+ if it doesn't change the sound

Rasp when you punch it? Hmm I'm used to hearing rasp on the G's on deceleration. Maybe because you have headers, usually HFCs don't have too much rasp.

Yeah I was just curious about the gearing for my own knowledge. Hoping someone would drop some knowledge on us about dyno numbers with different gears.

I think the ISR Y pipe is a good place to start. I know Moncef recommends them and I believe is what he has.

I pulled the trigger and bought a new ISR Ypipe.. I'm let you everyone know how it sounds. Moncef texted me to check out THAITITANIUM exhaust and I reached out to that guy but her said 6 months turnaround time. So for the $230 I just spent I can run it for a while and change it. To me it's not that big of a gamble since I've spent a good amount on my GAP insurance as Moncef says!!

Never heard of them. Love titanium but it is pricey.

this is true since you didn't have as much of a change in gearing... going from 3.3 to 4.08 is where you will see the change in dyno numbers.. and just FYI i have been going to the same dyno from day one for all my dynos...

I want to take it soon to the track to lay down a quarter mile. I'm not changing the exhaust now, I've spent a good amount in this thing over there past 6 months so I'm not replacing that now.

Chuckie's dyno'd lower after he changed gears (see thread below). Maybe because he went with 4.08's? I don't know enough about differentials, gearing, and all that to really speak on it confidently.

That's a great 0-60 time!

I hear you on the exhaust. I've spent a lot on my Motordyne ART pipes and catback and now I'm being told by Moncef (AdminTuning) that they don't flow the best for making the most power. I'll sacrifice a little power for the sound of Motordyne any day. Plus Calg37USMC made great power (342/274) with his Motordyne headers and catback.
