Uprev tune

Just set up my appointment for the 20th to go to Z car garage and have my uprev tune and dynos done. Runnign with a takeda long tube intake, FI test pipes and motordyne E370 exhaust. Wonder what kind of numbers I can lay down with a tune. Will update with pics and numbers!

Nice, I have a question and hopefully you will give me an answer. I have Intake, full cat-less exhaust on my car and would like to tune it someday. How much are they charging you for a tune(of course if not a secret :P)

That sounds about right , that's what most uprev shops charge for the tune

The delta on a dyne is the only thing that matters.

Ive had a 10hp difference between 3 of the same dynos.

Expect 15 to 25hp with an intake and exhaust tune. Most of the increase is from the tune itself, not really the add ons.
AFR, and timing will get you pretty far. If the tuner knows how to tweak the throttle map parameters, its a big bonus for low end response.

My uprev tune was $600 out the door. Gained 20hp with Berk HFC and tanabe exhaust. I got up to 296whp. It was 110° outside that day so in cool weather I'm probably at 300+

So went to do the tune on it and aparently Uprev didn't have it for a new 2012 Coupe yet, so cloned it and sent it to them. Will be tuning next week, on the plus side though, dyno'd at 300rwhp with no tune
