To be honest, I don't know. It was the type were you roll the rear wheels over two drums that measure the HP/TQ. I guess you have to tie down the cat as well. Hopefully some dyno experts can let us know. I was hoping the type would be on the bottom of the page but I am not sure if that is the type or not.

You got me. The guy asked me which gear was 1:1 but I didn't know. He figured it was 3rd or 4th. I assume he found out 4th was 1:1. I never looked it up after.

well that explains everything. You should ask to re dyno it...or else youll have to keep dynoing it in 4th if you want to know what gains your mods make

At the usual drivetrain loss of 15%, 330 hp at the crank should come out to 280hp at the rear wheel. What is up with this VQ motor? Is it overrated?

well first of all it looks like he dyno'd at the wrong gear...and secondly it looks like a "suprflow" dyno..which reads considerably lower than a dynojet or a dynapack.

there have been guys here who have dyoned between 270-290whp and 302hp at the hub...

there is nothing "up" with this VQ motor...different kinds of dynos read differently

Super Flow Dynamometer reads SUPER low. If you want dynamometer that'll put smile on your face, go dyno on Dynapack lol

yea those numbers are off....either wrong gear pull or a weird dyno machine.....the 3.7 should pull alot higher than that.
