Just wanted to let everybody know that Kennedale Raceway is having free drags on Saturday February 18th, from 1pm until close. It is their fan appreciation day, so racers and watchers are free of charge. Anybody want to meet up there and throw up a few eighth mile runs?

 

Hmmm, too bad such short notice ... I've already kind of committed to meeting everyone at Velocity Performance on Saturday. It sounds like it's going to be one helluva meet!

 

Ennis opens on Saturday as well. It's not free, but twice as long.

 

We need to plan a club day again at the track. Anyone interested?

 

Depends on when...I would like to run the track....The G can't but (HOPEFULLY) the friggin skyline will run. I would love to see what she is capable of!

Drag strip or road coarse?

That car has a ton of body roll and hundreds of pounds of friggin stereo crap in it. It would suck on the road course or a drag strip. It works well at sitting still. LMAO.

I think the Skyline will be built for road courses and drag strips. A lot of suspension work, no huge stereo equipment, 18's instead of the ole 19's to save some weight......etc.

 

sounds awesome...... unfortunately, i'll be in vegas at that time..... wish i saw this thread earlier....
