*Update* The Skyline
The skyline made it back to Florida for the reassembly and the addition of my goodies. The bill of laiding and bill of sale are headed to Mississippi, to get titled and registered. The car is going to be issued a US VIN
It should be in Dallas the 2nd weekend in January. I am going to head to pick it up in Mississippi and make the drive back to finish the break in of the parts and to test for structural integrity. Once I get back to D town I can go all out on it. The last step will be to go to the local DMV for Texas plates. With the registration, bill of sale, bill of laiding, etc, that should be no big deal and the custom plates will be slapped on that beast and she will be ready to go.
Since the car I bought was in a foreign trade zone here in the US the shipping time was reduced because it didn't have to come from Japan. But the titling process and the parts I added, and the holidays brought the time to about 8 weeks.
One last part needs to be ordered and the list will be complete! All parts ordered, waiting on the shipping. Most of the parts should be in Florida by middle of next week. Still hung up on a clutch. Haven't Ordered one yet. Leaning toward Exedy triple plate. Once that is ordered it will be done. Once re-assembly is done it gets titled and a US VIN will be assigned to it, which is huge if I ever choose to re-sell it. The Titling process takes about 5 days, so it pushes the final completion date back a week to the 3rd weekend in January.
Sorry about that guys. I got my hopes up on next weekend.

The car finishes up on Monday or Tuesday of next week. All of the aftermarket and replacement parts have finally been ordered. They are all gaurantteed to be at the shop by business close this Friday. So, everything will be on and the car will be running by the beginning of next week. Then the Titling process will take 3 to 5 more days with things wrapping up around weeks end next week.

I went with the Exedy twin plate and they gave me a choice of pressure plates and I xhose the 2650 lb clamp load plate. So I get the really stiff pedal feel like my G so both of the cars have similar clutch feels so it won't be weird going from one clutch to the other.
The Car is DONE!!!!! Projekt 7 finished with it this past weekend. Everything went as planned (no leftover bolts) LOL. Let the fun begin. The apaers are being shippied to me with the car, upon receipt I make my way to the DMV, get plates and I am done!!! It made just under 400 hp to all of the wheels after the parts were put on it (the guys at the shop were curious so they dynoed it). The last step in the process is me grabbing it from my titling guy around here. Come the next meet or 2 I should be able to legally drive her down.
P.S. I think the License plate was decided on and it will read: UWANT1

These are the pics from the last trip I made down to Florida to see her. Also included are pics of the LAST RX-7 EVER PRODUCED!!! 11 original KM's on that baby. The RHD Supra (most of the motor is being built right now. Also in the shop at the time was a white GTS-T skyline, a GTiR Pulsar, R32 GTR, The RX-7 and my car. They were very full. The motor was having the gaskets and timing belt put on at the time the pics were taken, The suspension was also found out to be Tein HR coilovers. (No one knew that when I bought it so that was a pleasant surprise) The Wheels and tires still have to be replaced. The internals were in terrific shape! The differentials were in great shape as well. The first turbo had some wear to the exhaust side and both compressor housings are starting to show their age. But that is neither here nor there. All of the parts that need to be replaced be be replaced here in Dallas. The hard part is over! The car is in the US with a title. The bodywork to repair the fenders is still in the works, but those are the least of my worries now.

Alright.........After a long road to get to this point, the car is done being built! It was fired up at the end of the day today. The last problem we ran into was the clutch style. If anyone is considering an R33.....YOU NEED A PULL STYLE CLUTCH!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't know that....got a push style. Long story short...they make a pull to push style conversion for the Skyline. Unfortunately you can imagine how many of those are running around the US right. SO....I had them keep the stock NISMO single plate in there. With that decision the car is finished. The body work to repair the damaged fenders will now begin and hopefully not take that long. SO, I imagine just under 2 more friggin weeks. (I am so sick of waiting on this damn thing BTW)!!! I bought the pull to push conversion from New Zealand and it will arrive at ProjectNissan.com in about 2 weeks, at which time I will have the converter thing put in along with a triple plate Exedy monster! Bottom line....If I waited for the converter to arrive and the clutch as well in Florida it would have pushed back the arrival date by like 4 to 6 more weeks. I was very against that so I will just take care of that when it gets to Dallas.

lol damn man that is crazy. How long ago did you order your skyline?
