*Update* The Skyline
The car started painting of the rear fenders the end of last week. This should finish up this coming week. Allow another 2 to 3 days for titling and then I will have to take a Friday off work and head to Miss. to get her. The valve cover looks friggin sweet now that it's on and stuff. Got pics of that yesterday. The tranny had a few issues and so did the brake lines. New blake line fittings had to be gotten and timing belt tensioners had to be purchased as well. We also had trouble finding a re-enforced 4" to 3" reducer for the intake opening to the intercooler piping opening. Finally found one in Florida so I didn't have to order it and have it shipped which would have delayed us more. But depending on the speed of the painting will determine where we are. With work and having to wait untilk a Friday to get it, it will depend a lot on when I can make it down to get it. But It will be gotten and once I have it I have it for a long long time, so I'm not worried about one more weekend without it. I'll post some more pictures from work tomorrow.
Plane tickets have been purchased and the exchange date is set. next Friday March 24th the car will be in Dallas!! It goes to Miss. Monday the 20th and will be in my hot little hands that Friday. When I get the car a serious problem was discovered and must be fixed almost instantly. A lifter (or more) has collapsed in the head. There is enough "lifter tick" to cause concern. Once here a new fully built head will be put in to fix the lifter and prepare for 700+ hp. Additionally, a new exhaust system with downpipe and cat delete will go on (the friggin thing still has a stock downpipe!!!! But next Friday it arrives (although injured) it will be here. It's been quite the journey!!!
