Poll* Plenum Upgrades, etc.

1/2" Plenum Spacer (With Thermal Upgrade) $300
Crawford Upper Polished Plenum $500
Crawford Lower Intake Plenum $250

How do we feel about upgrading our intake Plenum guys?

I mean is it really worth $1000 to upgrade the plenum this much?

People seem to think Plemun upgrades are the cheapest, most effective horsepower gains you can do to our cars. Are we buying into this statement?

I mean if the numbers people are claiming with the spacers and plenums are true this should come out to like +20 or so rwhp for $1000.

I am just not sure if I believe that upgrading the plenum like this will generate that much HP.

Any opinions on this matter would be terrific before I spend any money on going down this trail and eclipsing the 420 rwhp mark (Which would be pretty sweet for 8.2 psi)

Hyperlitesmu,
Last Monday I had the 1/2" spacer with ISO Thermal Kit installed at Velocity, just before I went into work. Friday I hit the dyno on my way into work.

I gained 14.69 HP and 17.42 FT-LB

The Kinetix plenum replaces top and bottm. I think it's in the $750 range.

I take it you would consider this a worthwhile upgrade if I am not mistaken?

The Real Question is: Does the Motordyne spacer get replaced by the Kinetix Plenum?

I thought you could only choose to install one of these 3 and that's all. Can you install all three? Is that what most people do is buy all 3 of these parts?
