Stereo Problem

So I was headed back to the office from lunch, sun roof back, windows down, radio blasting (as usual) and all of the sudden the radio just stopped responding. It was stuck on the same time stamp on the same track and I couldn't turn it off or change the volume via the steering wheel or the head unit itself.

So, I decided to turn off the car and start it back up. The stereo finally comes back on, however it was still stuck at the same time stamp on a song and the display wouldn't change at all, but I was able to navigate using only the steering wheel controls.

Later in the day I came out, started the ride and all was good. Is this a sign of things to come? Anyone had this problem yet?

If you have warranty get a new one ASAP...mine started acting up before I got the dreaded CD error; I think half of the people on here have gotten their h/u's replaced at time or another.....we might as well have gotten "sparkomatics" with a big ol pyramind amplifier... now dats taking it old school...

Yea, it's a brand new 06 I bought last Oct. Not worried about the warranty part, just curious what I should expect. Sounds like it's common

Similar situation happened to me few weeks back, actually on my way to the Miami G35 meet. I am listening to my cd all of a sudden it just simply stop playing and the on the display it reads Cd Error. At first i thought perhaps my headunit is dead because after doing search i realize this is some what common problem with our Bose unit. But next day just to try it out i went out to best buy & picked up a cd head cleaner and after two runs... damn it was working fine.
