Who has a Zspec battery tie down?

I know sounds like a stupid question, but my G37 didn’t have the battery tied down when I bought. This one was cheaper so I bought. Just need picture of it installed.

I've got one.

I had to put a strip of this along the bottom because it squeaked a bit too much for my taste:

Nevermind, Just noticed the hold down you are using has its own hardware:

There are threaded J shaped rods for the front and back of the hold down. The one in the back is shorter than the one in front.

See the picture for details

my apologies as I missed this one. The issue with the hold down is that it has a flush mount Allen head bolt that only tightens a fixed amount, vs a nut like OEM that you can tighten with a finer degree of accuracy.

The bolts hook into mounts in the engine bay, just like the OEM bracket.

Yep. Exactly like the factory tie down except that it has fixed length allen bolts that screw into nuts mounted within the J-hook, so you do have as much freedom to crank it down like you can with the nuts on the oem mount.

That's why a little weather strip was needed on the bottom to control the vibration of the battery against the bottom of the mount.

Ok thanks so much. So yeah exactly what I was thinking but I’m definitely gonna pick up some weatherstripping. Now to find the spare time to do all my little projects…
