3500 rpm rev limit HELP!

So….. I did a clutch and pressure plate replacement for the first time on my 08 G37 sport. Everything went smoothly. The car starts right up shifts into all the gears, but now I’m hitting a rev limiter at 3500. Any help would be appreciated. I took it to the dealer they have checked ECU and crank sensor all fine. They want to charge me $1000 to make sure that I never touched the flywheel. I told them I didn’t not remove the flywheel, I however did use break clean just to wipe it down. Please and thanks. Also no check engine or codes.

Try the link below and scroll to post #25. its an older 370Z thread, but seems to detail your exact problem.

Help me diagnose this problem: I can't rev past 3500 RPM intermittently (AK370Z) - Nissan 370Z Forum

You will need to have some patience as the The370Z forum is running very slow right now for some reason.

Thanks for your time. I will pass some of this info to the dealership, hopefully they can figure this out.
