Changing cracked upper oil pan HELP!

I have a 2012 Infinity g37 Sedan. The upper oil pan broke because I over tightened the oil pressure switch and the housing around the threads broke off. So I have researched and have decided to attempt this repair myself. Hoping to find someone that has changed out a upper oil pan before. Any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Do you have access to a lift, engine hoist, couple of jacks and heavy equipment?

The lower sub-frame needs to come off to do this or the engine needs to come out to do this or you need to separate the engine from the mounts and get enough space to be able to pull off the oil pan.
If you have access to all of this or the idea I think you wont need any more advice.

Drain of oil, remove lower pan, remove all bolts from the upper pan, remove upper pan, replace O-rings, scrape silicone from surfaces, install new silicone, install pan, torque pan, install lower pan, insert oil.

I guess make sure you buy the o rings that seal oil pressure into the oil filter cavities. Making sure they're OEM is your best bet.

I have a engine support bar to hold the motor in place. I ordered the OEM upper pan, the oil filter check valve and the o ring. What else has to come off other than the subframe? Do I have to remove the steering rack or anything else? I appreciate you taking the time to answer some of my questions on this!

The steering can stay attached to the frame, make sure you position the steering wheel and lock it and disconnect the steering joint.
