I am thinking of purchasing an ambient lighting strip set. The strip is able to fit in the gap between panels so my plan is to install the strips on the top part of the aluminum inserts on the 4 doors and dash, similar to the below photo. I would hardwire and tap into my headlight wiring so it will automatically turn on/off with the headlights.

Looking for advise or suggestions from anyone who has done this in the past.

Anyone have experience with the LED Outlet.co kit? Any other brands you suggest?
Any DIY builds you are aware of?
