Has anyone installed a 13.6 inch tesla style screen from phoenix auto? If so can someone show me how to hook up a sub and amp? I'm having a hard time getting it to work. Which rcas do I use?

 

it goes right into your stock headunit, everything i believe is plug and play

 

I have sub and amp hooked up to it. Take a pic of the back with wiring and tell me if you have bose or not. I know there 1 attachment plug that has audio outputs. I used that I think. If you show me what your working with I can tel you.

 

Sorry for the off topic question but do the Phoenix Android sets allow changing of the HVAC and blower settings? Does the factory backup camera operate as expected? Are the OEM options from the stock system replicated onto the phoenix screen or are they for the most part unavailable?

 

Mine pretty works perfectly. My steering controls work. AC and all that works perfectly. Back up cam works. There could be some oem functions I don’t use that don’t work and I just don’t know b/ I don’t use them, but all the main stuff works as advertised. The only thing I can think of that doesn’t work is the oem satellite antenna. If you have sat radio, you’ll have to mount a receiver somewhere but that’s not really a big deal.


Edit: I did notice a drop in audio quality, but my unit doesn’t have the built in DSP. Some units have it, some don’t. They look the same so make sure you get one that does.
