I've been looking around for a good screen protector for the factory navi. Since it is a touch screen, i'd feel a lot more comfortable pressing it with my or other's dirty oily fingers when there is a screen protector to prevent scratches.

That's when I came across Terrycs's screen protector. He offered to mail me a free one so I can write a review, so here it is. (sorry for the delay terry, been busy with school).

The packaging of the screen protector is great. Terry even labeled which side is the plastic cover that you remove. You just need to place a piece of tape on the plastic cover in the corner to help you peel it off.

The installation is somewhat challenging. If you want to avoid having any air bubbles, i would strongly recommend taking out the screen from the car so you can have more room to work with. I tried to install the screen protector inside the car and it did not work out as clean as i wanted.

Basically, you just try to align the screen protector with the screen. You want to try to align one side and squeeze out air bubbles while letting the screen protector adhere to the screen.

Before and after pictures can be seen below. I did get a few bubbles that i could not get rid of. But when the screen is turned on, you cannot see the bubbles at all. I think the install would've gone better if I took the screen out to install.

Overall, the screen protector is very good. You cannot tell that it's there, especially when the car is on. There is no glare at all. Good quality stuff. Highly recommended if you want to have a scratch free screen!

But you wouldn't ever catch me taking out the factory screen just to put some protector on it and make sure there is no bubbles. I really don't even use the touch screen feature so this would be useless for me. I use the buttons or voice activation mostly. Besides you shouldn't even be touching the screen with oily hands in the first place.

I've actually been selling these over on driver for the sedan because I have one. This allowed me the chance to do a nice DIY for removing the LCD. It is literally a 5 minute job:

Removing the bezel will eliminate the bubbles for sure because the film is sized to fit UNDER the bezel so there are no edge gaps.

I used to use the buttons to avoid surface scratching my LCD, but I found that there is NO WAY scrolling around with the buttons is faster than direct touch on the screen.

What I'd like to learn first before general release for use on the coupe is how easy is it to pull the LCD out. I'd like to eventually write a DIY specific to the coupe first.
