Idler pulley bearings
Disclaimer: I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF YOU SCREW UP YOUR CAR!
This is just an ALTERNATIVE way to save money for those who are interested. I found the information on the link below for mine. The idler pulley bearings on my car were gone. So, I decided to use the information from that guy on YouTube to save some money. Since I DO NOT have a hydraulic press, I took my idler pulleys to a local machine shop to have them remove the old bearings and press the new bearings in the pulleys. The 3 idler pulleys, (two grooved pulleys and the smooth pulley) use the same bearings (part# 63012RS). I purchased the belt tensioner new because I was unsure of the tensioner’s spring integrity. Therefore, I cannot comment on that part. The local shop charged me $7.50 each for the labor of the 3 idler pulleys, plus the cost of the new JAPANESE bearings that I purchased from a seller on eBay that is on the link below. It worked great, no more squealing pulleys and saved A LOT of money in the process. If you are going to do this, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE GENERIC BEARINGS, as it serves no purpose and is a moot point to go that route. The RS suffix in the part number means the bearings are SEALED on BOTH SIDES which is what you want to use.
