How to properly dye your interior

I had seen a lot of posts across the internet of people dying their seats with duplicolor dye and I wasn’t really happy with their results so I started researching other methods. I found this website autoleatherdye.com and gave it a shot. The results came out amazing and I would highly recommend giving this a try. The dye is water based so it soaks into the leather as opposed to some other options available. After 48 hours or so of drying I tried to see if I could scratch it off and it wasn’t going anywhere. Overall really happy with it and I made a video explaining the process. If you took apart your interior fully I would think you could probably do the whole thing in a day.

Wow, i wish i would have seen their products earlier.

This was my attempt, didn't go so well. I noticed the dye i used comes off with acetone sorta... might try removing it and trying again. Does yours match the OEM black perfectly?

I can’t say for certain if it matches the oem black or not but they told me on the phone their dyes listed are color matched. If you’re still skeptical you can send in a sample and they’ll match it. I personally went with the Lexus black because I always thought Lexus made nice interiors and it came out great. You can try acetone or rubbing alcohol and strip it down but I would highly recommend this product if you retry.
