This is awesome, I love working on the car but really hate getting it up in the air because of how long it takes. I gotta try this.

I"ll be honest this guy knows a lot but I would not be comfortable getting under a vehicle that the supporting system (the ramp) has been cut on and parts removed. Maybe you could drive on a board first to get all the ramp underneath unmodified.

I'd want a board on each side bridging the front and rear ramps together anyway.
Ever try to climb a ramp, only to have it spit out from under the front of the tire?
so yeah, drive onto the long board/front ramp assembly first.
then clip the rear ramps onto the boards.
the board should also allow you NOT to have to cut the rear ramps down?IDK, just spitballin' here
