This is a pretty easy mod and only took me 10 minutes. I didn't have to purchase anything but the cost to start from scratch should still be significantly less than getting red LED bulbs. Did this on my previous car and thought I try this on the G.





Tools needed:

- Red sharpie
- Flathead screwdriver

1. Remove the cover (https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...ion-guide.html)

2. Remove the cover from the housing. There are 4 tabs (2 on each side). Pry them off carefully to separate the cover & housing.



3. Use a red permanent marker to draw/paint the inside side of the cover. Try to cover all areas from the inside. I used this:



4. Reverse above steps (don't wipe the red paint off of course)

5. Enjoy the end result

Cheap mod that if properly done can yield good results.
Alcohol wipe + steady hand+ wide red marker will do.

Problem here is results will decay over time.

The best upgrade for this is red transparent vinyl, for ever lasting, possibly cents more than the marker.
