MotorvateDIY Video Requests?
This one? https://www.myg37.com/forums/upcomin...mmer-meet.html
Join the thread, get on the list. And if you're looking to connect with someone on your ride South from Canada, let me know.
Clutch pedal is definitely a DIY mod, however it's something best done by someone with DIY confidence and physically comfortable squeezing into the footwell upside down. (Which is certainly more you than me, LOL)
Considering the thoroughness and professional quality of the videos you've already done, I strongly suspect you could negotiate a deal if you share your video with Ryan. He'll likely put it on his website. Also, his business is in St. Thomas, Ontario... you could probably just drive over and visit with him.
Strike a deal, have some fun, make a difference and improve your car. All for not much money and a little bit of time.

Thanks again for the work you do in these videos, loved the ramp video (appreciate showing me after commenting on requesting it). Would you be needed to do a serpentine belt replacement anytime soon? I kinda have the basic idea of doing it but a video will always help.

Thank you!
A spark plug & coolant DIY video will be done, but not for another 30,000 miles.
Changing power steering was shot last summer and will be going into post production later this month.
Right now I am editing "How well does the K&N filter dirt?" and hope to have it ready on Friday (March 3)

Huge fan, and appreciate the quality videos.
As stated, front bumper removal could prove to be very useful for others.
This may be farfetched and not in your personal scope, but installing coilovers on the G. Although easy, I know a lot of people can benefit from this.
Again, you have already did a great job. I was literally thinking yesterday, what could be next.

If your Clutch Master Cylinder ever goes out, you should record the replacement (if possible). I know a LOT of people will be viewing that on the 6MT. Hopefully not anytime soon for both our sakes. ;-)
Motorvate Video Request: testing for parasitic draw.
I know there's a few of these on the tube but was hoping to get some numbers and your test method for measuring parasitic draw when the car is off/parked. This could help people determine if they have a faulty vent control valve.
Thanks!
P.s subscribed and love your videos, awesome work!

Sorry, but that is not in the budget for this year.
I did a track day in April, the the stock brakes felt and worked well for most of the day. The last two afternoon sessions resulted in 30% higher pedal effort for the same braking action. As it turned out the pads became tapered by about 2mm.
A little 60 grit emery paper to remove the glazing and reduce the taper and the brakes are back to normal.
My point is, I don't know if they could make much difference on the G37 from a performance perspective.

Thanks for the kind words and the comment on the quality. It takes between 30-40 hours for post production for every episode. It is very important to me that the videos are short, to the point, good quality, and have a structured layout.
If I ever need to remove the front bumper, I will shoot a video on that.
As for coil overs, that is outside of my budget for this year and probably next year.
Unless... someone ships me a set
