MotorvateDIY Video Requests?

My name is Frank and I am the "Chief Grease Monkey" of Motorvate's DIY Garage.

Are there any DIY videos that you would like me produce?
If so, please post them here.

Thanks!
Frank

Aftermarket front camber arm install and rear camber arm/toe bolt install. And while you're down there coilover or lowering spring install There are some clips out there on some of it but you have a a style & attention to detail that makes it easier for the avg. Joe to get it done without much trouble if they're paying attention

Will be added to the spring 2017 production schedule:
-Serpentine belt replacement (how am I going to get cameras in that tiny area????)
-Coolant flush & fill

Not likely:
-Front shock (unless mine wears out)
-Lowering springs
-Camber arm / toe bolt install

I like the look of a lowered G37, but with the snow in my area, it turns my car into a snow plow.

Anything else?

Timing gasket lol...I HIGHLY doubt he wants to do that particular one and hopefully he never has to.

I would definitely be in for a Serpentine belt replacement. Basically all wear and tear item videos, things most of us will likely need to do at some point.

Not a mechanical DIY but a video on replacement of all the headlight bulbs would be useful for those looking to upgrade..

Any general maintenece items would be great. As the G37 platform ages, you're gonna have more and more people with these cars turning their own wrenches.

Is the host car a 6MT or 7AT? RWD or AWD?

As always, thanks for the ideas!

Already shot and in queue for post-production:
-Diode Dynamics YELLOW LED turn signals & resistor DIY
-Twin turbo build (just kidding )

Will be added to the spring 2017 production schedule:
-Starter replacement (RWD only)
-Timing Gasket: If/when mine fails, this will be done.
However, a "how to check your oil pressure" video has been shot and is in the post production queue.

Not likely:
-Rad replacement. Generally Nissan rads last forever.
BUT if I need to pull my rad to make room for the camera on the serpentine belt replacement video, I will make one.

Host car (aka my car) is a rear wheel drive G37 Sport 6MT Sedan, so any AWD / auto tranny stuff I can't show.

I would say taking off front bumper and removing headlights.

While there are some decent DIY threads with pictures, I feel a video would truly help alot of the new comers out.

Sorry bridgengineer, I missed your suggestion all bulb replacement suggestion and will add it the the "likely"

Victory: Routine maintenance DIY videos will absolutely be done.
(When my car requires it)

Front bumper / headlight removal:
Maybe... If the budget allows for an oil cooler in 2017 I can do a 2-for-1

No worries! I'm happy with the turn signal bulb replacement video you mentioned was in the queue, I'm getting ready to replace mine with LED switchbacks soon so I'll be looking out for the video, and I subscribed to your youtube channel! Thanks for putting out these DIY's!

There's one bit of maintenance i think most people forget about: lubricating locks, hinges, seals. Cleaning and lubricating window/moonroof tracks
