Hi guys, I recently purchased a short shifter kit from NST. After the easy install, im having a few issues.

First off, it feels like I'm doing a workout every time I shift. It feels rough and it takes some effort to get it into gear. I greased as much as thought necessary on the pivot ball, did I not grease enough?

Secondly, im overthrowing 5th and 6th like crazy. Im sitting there with my clutch to the ground trying to locate it.... I read somewhere online that some guy installed his OEM collar plate on top of the NST provided one to avoid overthrowing 5th..... I did the same, but am still missing 5th.

What could I possibly do to fix these issues?
