Excellent, I am thinking about doing this to my 2011. Doesn't seem like anyone has had any adverse effects.

Did anyone who did the mod do the option steering wheel button replacement? Saw the part for that on ebay for about 150$ or so.

The prodigy system is pretty much an additional touch screen overlay, and computer. You get to keep all factory features and it looks 100% stock.

Only difference is when you touch the display you get navi options and radar detector options (actual radar receiver attaches to front of car).

Radar beeps & navi directions get played through a 2" speaker in the computer unit - not through the audio system =(

I'm going to jump in here and ask this question. Thanks to modme and others, I'm doing the swap 09 navi to 10 navi, next month. My only concern is, how do you map upgrades through infiniti? Also, if there are s/w updates or TSB for it, how does that work since your stereo isn't the same as your car.

Thoughts?

Your AV warranty will basically be voided. Navigation map updates are now upgraded through DVD instead of CF slot, which was another reason I did the swap. A firmware upgrade disk is included every year with the Navteq map dvds. Thats how i get my updates.

Haha, I kinda figured the warranty would be void. I didn't know that about the upgrades. Thanks

Does anyone know if this can be done at the dealership? And for how much? I have a 2012 g37 w/o the navi and hate that I can't play music with my android phone

Late response, they told me no. Was basically told it would be cheaper to trade in my car and get a new one with the option

I'm sure they would order all new components wiring etc at dealer prices with labor and charge you 10k or more

I have a question for the OP or anyone who might know, what would be required to gain bluetooth music support for an already navigation/bose equipped 2008 G37? Is it still going to require a huge amount of swapping (everything) or just certain parts? I assume there will be little to no splicing though?

I combined all the parts into one PDF and hosted it on my mediafire for my contribution, the link is here:

Thanks to everyone on this thread

Hey

I just finished a complete non-nav to nav install with these instructions. I found the hardest item was the actual mic wiring. The system works like a dream. I am glad to get nav again after trading in my passat for the G37. Just remember to take your time with the wiring and double check everything, specially the display connector (M35). FYI on my 2013 had to use the new panel for the climate control.

I wanted to thank everyone for their info to finish the conversion. The info from modme and everyone else helped to complete the next project. I just finished a conversion on my other car, a QX70-2014 from non navi to navi and everything is working. If anyone needs any help here please post and I will try to answer as soon as possible.

Hey man, I was about to get started on swapping my non nav screen for the navigation and have some questions before I get started.

My car is a 2011 and Im swapping a 2010 screen inside. Im going to the custom harness route using connectors from a 2010 non nav radio and Im trying to figure out how to route all the wires.

So if Im not mistaken the way its suppose to work is the M210 connector gets its power from M202 and M204 not the M201 connector right. As that connnector shows wiring that hooks up to the speakers

for the M208 connnector it uses the M201 and M205 so both connectors need to be wired to the same wires on the M208 right?? So basically im going to have to run 2 sets of wire to each wire on the 208 connector.

For the M209 connector which one does it connect to I see the M203 connector doesnt have all of those wires for it and cant find the other connectors that do.

The M75 connector is basically getting it power from the M210 connector which from the car is the wires routing from the M202 and M204 correct

This is kind of confusing so I was wondering if I can get a little bit more details on how to run wiring.
