Any DIY's for Valve Cover Removal 08' Coupe?
I was checking my spark plugs the other day because periodically like once every two weeks, Ill get a P0300 code random misfire.Upon removal I discovered that one of the spark plugs on the passenger side had a decent amount of oil on it. Not sure if this is the culprit but I will still like to have this fixed. I was told that the whole valve cover will have to be replaced and I do not want to pay the stealership hundreds of dollars to do something that I'm sure I can do. Does anyone know where I can find a DIY with pics on how to remove this? Thanks any help is appreciated

What the dealership told you is true about replacing your valve cover. The main reason they say you'll need to replace the whole thing is the plastic well warp and even if you replace the gaskets, it could still leak oil. My driver side is leaking so bad i can smell the oil burning now. it's really easy to replace them be removing the intake manifold. Then you'll have more room to get both valve covers out. I'm gonna reseal the intake and replace spark plugs, valve covers, and maybe my headers.
