Hey sorry to bring up an old thread but i am interested in doing this to my G37s. Jsolo can i still buy the spring off of you? Also, is there another simpler method DIY out there? Its my first time doing something like this and wanted to take the easy way if available.

^^The springs are still available see this thread for more info.

If you want to get an idea of what it'll be like without the spring, just remove the stock one. You'll have some play at the top of the pedal, but the feel will be similar.

So, it's obvious that nobody has done any research of these springs themselves. If so, you'd have found that these springs cost $10. No way in hell is his $30 shipped price justifiable.

$20, maybe.

Compression Spring 72577 - Compression Springs - Compression

Minimum order is 4 springs. With UPS ground shipping, it comes to ~$55 for 4 springs. That's what a group buy should be, a combined effort to get a good price for everyone involved. Not this dude selling 400+ of them on ebay at his inflated *** pricing.

I installed the lighter spring and it helps about 50%.

Anyone just remove the spring altogether? It still seems like it wants to "spring" up at the top of the clutch travel, which causes your shifting to lurch like you're a stickshift noob.
