I just done the cabin air filter change today on my 2010 G. The steps are identical.

Excellent video. I just changed mine and it was a piece of cake since I knew exactly where all the screws were! Big props for making the video!

BTW here's my old cabin filter....just a tad dirty! I'm glad the previous owner changed it regularly...

Good find on the video. Did you guys buy the filter from filterheads.com or just get them from the dealer?

Thanks, just did this today. My only problem was that I couldn't get 2 of the 3 back screws back in completely. Probably didn't line up my glove box correctly or something. Eventually gave up and said the hell with it haha.

Why does the video say to have the new filter arrow pointing down when the original filter clearly points up as he's removing it?

probably because the OEM arrow is not air flow indication but the new filter is.

I bought one of those charcoal air filter Amazon.com: NPN ACC Cabin Filter for select Infiniti models: Automotive and its arrow is pointing to how the air flow should be, which should be pointing down.

Out of curiosity, how often should you change this filter?

I just followed this video and it worked well on the 2009 sedan. Easy and exact!

1) when the dealer changed the filter the first time, they must have lost or left out the lower left screw. It wasn't in there!

2) when removing the top center rear screw, it fell out and I never found it - it's just gone.

Have to get two new screws from the dealer I guess....

Followed this video yesterday - was a breeze. Attached below is a pic of a new OEM filter ($33 at my local dealer!! Will be ordering online next time) vs. the filter that came out of the car (original filter, had 33.5K miles on it). Not using my A/C or heat much this time of year, but good to know I've got a new filter in there.
