Nice. 14 oz. of silicone grease will lube all of our sway bar bushings for the life of our cars! I need to find something else to use silicone lube on to justify $20 worth...

$32.00 for the gun and a tube of lube. It took me all of 10 minutes to lie on my back and squirt 4 zerk fittings this morning.

How long does it take to remove the bushings and lube them by hand??
2 hours??
Every couple of months.
What's your time worth?
You could be making a set of wires with the time you save!!!
Pays for itself the first time!!

I guess I'm negligent. I've had aftermarket sways on my last 3 cars and have yet to do any lubrication of the bushings on any of them other than when I installed them. Maybe it's time I started.

Does that gun come with a fitting for the grease zerks on the Hotchkis bars?

I lubed the crap out of them on initial install, 3 months later, I hear squaking on cold mornings.

The one linked has the flex hose with the adjustable zerk adapter.
Loosen 3/4 turn from full tight for the Hotchkis bars.
4 pumps, and oozing out of the sides.

Question Gad-Zerks! Thread Revival!

I've been searching for an answer to my question and I stumbled onto this thread. I figured it was the closest to being on-topic.

Soo... my question is: Are grease zerks a standard size? Will any grease gun be compatible with the zerks on the Hotchkis bushings? I picked up a Pro/Heavy-Duty pistol-grip grease gun from a local shop to use with a 14oz. Hotchkis SuperGrease cartridge. Do I need anything else? Or will the gun just attach right to the zerk? Thanks.
