This was a huge help! Thanks, OP! One thing I wanted to note is that I also had issues getting the ball joint into the knuckle and when I tried using a hammer I damaged the threads on the ball joint even though I wasn't hammering on it directly. The first arm I got in even though the nut was tighter than it should be because the threads were damaged a little and started to strip but the second one wouldn't go and I had to hammer it out from underneath. I then couldn't get the nut off the second one so I had to Dremel it off just so I could reuse the arm with a new ball joint. I spoke with SPC who recommended I use something (chisel, crow bar) to insert into the gap and gently spread the knuckle opening just enough to fit it in. This wasn't the easiest task but it certainly beats having to purchase a new ball joint! They were awesome enough to send me replacement nuts and washers. I put those on the first one after I picked up a 5/8"-32 die to fix the threads and now the nut spins freely as it should. Also, I wanted to mention that it's a good idea to either disconnect the brake lines to release tension and/or tying the knuckle to the strut instead of leaving it to hang.
