Thanks! I thought for sure I'd be breaking some plastic clips...

I'm assuming to get the trim piece off I circled in Red you have to take the door panel off and unscrew the screws circled in green from the back? It's not just a pull off trim piece?

Would it be fair to say that someone who has never done this sort of thing could pull this project off without ruining anything? just want to know what I'm up against. I have never done this sort of thing. Think this can be done by an amateur?

Door panels are generally pretty easy, follow the steps, take your time and you shouldn't have any issues.

Not on the G, but on one of my previous cars I did it often enough that it would take only a few minutes.

Bumping an old thread(?) --- anyways here's my issue:

I removed my driver side door panel and removed all wiring. I replaced the interior panel trim with monaco red interior panel. When I tried to re-install the panel, my power windows wouldn't work, (haven't removed passenger door panel yet - only driver side). I disconnected my battery and only my passenger side window worked.

Any ideas on what the hell is wrong? Lol

Hi All,

Great post and images for the interior door panel removal. Very detailed and informative.

I do have a question regarding removing the interior door panel for a G37 convertible. I attempted steps 1 through 7 on the illustrated guide, but when I got to the top portion of the door, near the glass, it won't pry anymore and I hear cracking? I have scoured multiple sites and videos, but no one has done an instruction. Please help! Thank you in advance, apologies if this is a repost.
