Awesome post, just used it to replace my (formerly) broken speaker cover. Looks good as new, and even with the cost of a trim remover tool still <$30!

How fragile are the clips that hold the door panel on? I'm worried about pulling too hard, breaking the clips and not being able to put it back on.

Is a trim removal tool necessary or can I just a screwdriver to get it started then just pull with my hands?

Pull hard. The first time is the tightest.

what's so funny about the speaker? It's a little small?

I'd say the Bose system kicks ***! Doesn't distort as it gets louder, gets loud enough, does okay given the lack of a true subwoofer.

Appreciate the DIY. Is there a good online source for the 2011 aluminum trim pieces?

Thanks for this post, I was worried that the clips might break off but they do come out. I wanted to take the window switch finisher out, wrap it and put it in again. It does not come out or return very easily, at least my clumsy attempt, is there a trick to that?
