Why do y'all de-badge/remove emblems? Is it just aesthetics or are wanting to throw folks off as to what your ride is?
I ask because I'm planning on replacing the grille on my new coupe (probably going to matte black) and have to consider whether to omit the emblem or just get a new one to match.
everyone does it for the looks. i am planning to do it just cause my mf towels keep getting caught it in when i dry the car not to mention its hard to clean around the emblems unless i use a q-tip

Curious. Thanks!
personal preference for me. looks much sleaker and is easier to clean.

Not true. I did mine because I did the jdm conversion and put the skyline and 370gt badges. Had nothing to do with looks
I removed my INFINITI because towels got caught on it all the time and it looks sleeker with it off. The letters made it too "busy" back there.
Nope dead serious. I've been in the hardcore jdm scene for years with all my cars. just because we like to call it an infiniti still doesn't take the fact away it was designed under the Nissan name and carries the Nissan badge in Japan. It's a 370gt.

Well you disagreeing with "people do it for the looks" using the reason "I did the JDM conversion", is contradicting yourself! JDM conversion is nothing but looks unless you swapped the engine, which would be a waste of money. You're also not in Japan.....

I said people don't do it just for looks. ie wanting a clear trunk. Mine is not about looking cool. It's a jdm thing. Learn to read. Secondly clearly you have no clue what your talking about the car in Japan is no different then the car here. Same motor same suspension same everything. Just different badges. Before you try to talk sh*t learn what your talking about first.
