wow... isn't this kinda like the honda kids putting "type S" on everything when it's not? I understand these are essentially the same cars but...this doesn't seem right.

Not hatin', I just don't get it...

no as you said they are the same car. putting type S would be like me putting the GTR badge on this car.

i believe there are a few clips in the rear holding it on. i was planning to remove mine this weekend. if i get to do it tomorrow i will snap pics and do another dyi

It ended up being very easy - you have to remove the cover in the engine compartment that protects the top of the radiator and then you can reach in and squeeze the clips - the emblem should just pop out.

I now have my black pearl badges on the car - looks very nice!!!

floss.... it took a while because the floss kept breaking but it took some time and patience. but i promise it works.

after the floss breaking about 4 times i was about to take a screwdriver to it!!!

two things. make sure you apply some sort of adheasive remover to the badge. pour it on the back side so it pours down and softens the glue that is key. second if you keep having trouble with the floss breaking which is common with some flosses juse fishing line, it wont snap and it will cut through the glue like butter...

i just used meguiars paint cleaner then waxed it. used my fingers to remove them as well. very easy.
