To cover or not to cover

I just came across these covers while surfing the web.
I haven't found a set to fit the G, but just wanted to see what the community says about it.

Car Door Lock Cover & Check Arm Cover Set

So let's hear it

Thanks

I never knew these existed until now. Are you certain that they won't interfere with the door closing and latching securely? I don't see that they improve aesthetics at all, do they have a practical purpose?
