G37xS Coupe Suspension

Hey guys, I have a 2012 G37xS coupe. Being that it is all wheel drive, does it still have the sports suspension that is available on the non AWD G37S? It feels much tighter and less floaty than my cousins G37 RWD Sedan. I can also feel the road alot more in my xS, but that could be because I am running the stock sport 19inch rims. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ben

Yes, the all-wheel-drive sport coupe does have the sport suspension and sport brakes which is really nice. Regarding the feedback from the road, low profile 19 inch tires certainly plays into that but also the tire itself. The OEM Yokohamas in my opinion were awful in terms of road noise. That greatly improved and the ride became less harsh and more comfortable when I switched tires.

Yokohama Envigor all-seasons?

I have a set on my car right now. Complete junk.

I've used the Continental DWS in the past - can't wait for these Yokos to wear out so I can have a proper set of all seasons again..

I Live in Chicago, have AWD, but am still considering getting some blizzaks for winter. Do you guys run winter onlys or do you think a good all season tire will suffice?

I'm in Calgary. I have a set of winter tires for the winter and it makes a big difference. I've tried driving my all-wheel-drive with all seasons in the snow and while it does pretty good it's nothing like the traction you have with dedicated winters.

How about the steering ratio? Does that get changed to 14.7 for xS models or does it only apply to RWD only?

That's a very good question, I would like to know as well. I do know that the car has a very poor turning radius compared to my other cars. . .
