Do I have Scratch Shield?

Hello I have a 2012 G37X KH3 Black that I had buffed and coated however the paint didn't turn out well and the detailer is trying to figure out why.
I've researched everywhere, seems like most or all Infiniti's have Scratch shield but I can't find listed anywhere on my car. I tried to attached URL image of the sticker under hood, not sure if they attached correctly. The sticker under hood shows "Hard Clear Coat" "use only approved refinish materials. As opposed to stickers that say scratch shield. On the phone with Infiniti customer care and they can't tell me for sure.

Can you please try to post proper links to the photos?

Also - when you say the paint did not turn out well, what was the specific issue?

Hello,
Thanks for responding, the links have probably expired.

I found out I don't have scratch shield, rather hard clear coat.

Detail shop put swirl marks all over my blk car then sealed with a 5yr sealer, when trying to fix they burned through my paint in a couple of spots. Luckily they have insurance who is covering the damage.

Thanks

That sucks, man! Glad it will get taken care of. If they burned through the paint they were probably rushing. Make em make it right!

I have an '09. I do not have the scratch shield. If it's something specific to the scratch shield I'm not sure. If you're drying on a cool surface with MF waffle weaves and still get streaks, you can probably use a QD to finish up. If the surface is nice and smooth and water beads well you can do rinse with a moderate constant flow of water that helps everything sheet off to give a very minimal amount of water to hand dry. I don't know how MF towels would streak unless they are saturated or have some sort of oil or something else still in the fibers.

MF Waffle weave towels are recommended. They don't scratch or cause swirls and dry very well. Even costco MF towels will work, though they'll need to get that initial dampness first and then they will dry pretty well. But you want to use MF towels. The white cotton towels will scratch and swirl the paint.

Regarding gas mileage...I've seen anywhere from 16 to 27 MPG. I'm about in the middle at 21 MPG with about 75% to 80% freeway driving. Of course, that depends on how heavy my foot is for that tank of gas, too.
