Protective film or guard against scuffs?

Is anyone aware of any sort of protectant film, guard, etc. that could be placed on the inner kick plate and part of the rear finisher (see photos) to guard against scuffs? My kids are small and when they get in and out of the car they stand on these parts of my car.

Probably just like they use on the front bumper or mirrors a clear 3m product. Might be harder to mold.
