Vertical part of trunklid a magnet for dust/dirt?
Vertical part of trunklid a magnet for dust/dirt?
Is it just me or does the vertical part of the trunklid on a G37 seem like an absolute dust magnet?
I washed my car a few days ago and after some short drives the trunk is filthy again, the rest of the car is fine.....you would think it would be the opposite since its the rear of the car. Does the aerodynamics of the car (or maybe its the OEM rear spoiler?) cause all this dirt build up?
My car is Opti-coated and I know for sure the trunklid is still coated (based on how the water reacts when it hits the surface). Im also wondering if something like a rear window spoiler would alter the aerodynamics enough to stop or at least lessen the problem.
Thanks.
