cleaning side mirrors help

cleaning side mirrors help

every since i've gotten my car the side mirrors have had what seems to be water spots on them. i have washed, scrubbed, windex, vinegar/water solution but nothing seems to get the spots out. what can i do to get them back to clear?

I've had good luck with vinegar/distilled water. If it's not cutting for you, try straight white vinegar.

Tried it with the vinegar and distiller water and also just straight white vinegar and still no go.....

Mine is to the point where I want to sand and paint them (The Black Plastic). Fix the problem permanently.

As far as the mirror itself. Buffing compound?

Try Glass Science (Detailed Image or Autogeek) bit be cognizant that they usually have an anti-glare coating

rain x didn't work the first time I tried it. I'll try the clay bar the next time I wash the car. If that doesn't work I'll give glass science a go. Thanks guys!
