Question Average price for wash/wax/clay/polish/wax?

hey guys wanted to find out how much is average price for g37 coupe?

I was going to do myself, but have no time.

Infiniti wants $250 for interior and exterior, they have a in-house detailer.

$125 for exterior only wash/wax/clay/polish/wax

Feel more comfortable doing there since its Infiniti versus Joe Shomo with no reviews and running "Detail special? i don't know about. Thoughts?

Anyone in Sacramento area that's good?

Detailing

Exterior (8 hours)
• Wash and dry exterior paint – 1.5
• Detailer’s clay – 1.0
• Tyres and Wheel surfaces – 0.5
• Clean exterior glass – 0.5
• Clean and lightly polish paint – 1.5
• Wax or seal paint -1.0
• Clean and protect rubber seals – 0.5
• Exhaust, tyres and trim etc 1.5 hours

Interior (4.5 hours)
• Brush and Vacuum carpets – 0.5
• Shampoo mats – 0.5
• Shampoo / extract carpet – 1.0
• Clean upholstery – 1.0
• Apply protection to vinyl and leather – 0.5
• Clean interior glass -0.5
• Deodorize interior - 10 min
• Protect carpet and upholstery – 0.5

This level of detail on an average sized and condition vehicle would take approx 13 hours, a larger vehicle will obviously take more time, most professional detailers will charge between $400 and $550 to do this level of work.

Depending on location / skill level / /reputation, to transform a vehicle back to ‘like-new condition; so expect to pay a fair price for the amount of work and materials involved.

OP, have you tried looking over at Autopia? Usually individual detailer hobbyists do a a very nice job since they take their work very seriously.

I'll go to Joe Schmoe on Autopia before a $125 dealer job.

When it comes to detailing, you get what you pay for.

It usually takes me 8 hours to do my full detail, and Im an amateur enthusiast who has his routine down pretty well.

Not sure if that was a typo but I doubt a detailer would wax the car and then clay, polish, and wax again.
Also, as someone stated above me, it's important to see their work either in their portfolio or just some before/after pics they have taken.

As for $125 for the interior part, you need to ask what they are doing. Are they going all out with the leatherique treament or is it just a vacuum and wipe down? Is that total for $250 include under the hood, inside the trunk, and all the inner fenders?

Depending on how thorough the detailer is, the price of a detail can range from 100 bucks to 500 bucks. I'd ask the detailer to be more specific as to what is being done.
