Meguiars G110v2 v Porter Cable

Has anyone tried the new Meguiars polisher? I would be curious to read some hands-on comparisons of the two machines.

^ Yep, Same sheet.

I had the porter cable, some *** hat stole it, and I got a Griot's 6 inch orbital. It really is the same thing. Save the cash to use on pads and polishes. The chances of your burning it out are slim to none.

G110v2 has cruise control, an internal feedback circuit increases torque when downward pressure is applied.

^ but FLEX costs like 3x the price of a PC. Unless you gonna do some serious professional level polishing. PC will do just fine.

I agreed with that, as I opted for the flex. I can't believe how good that thing works. I scratched my clearcoat pretty good debadging and the flex and a finishing pad with M205 took it all out.

A friend of mine painted his car and had some serious orange peel going on... he wet sanded a small spot with 2000 grit and we hit it with the flex and the M205 and it looks gorgeous now... so... he now has my flex for a few days while he fixes his finish. LOL!

Worth the $320, if you ask me. I've almost made that much detailing OPC's (other people's cars) who have seen mine after I detailed it and asked me to do theirs.

Hmmm, so why do you prefer the Flex over the PC or the Meguiars?
