Scraped bumper, what should I do?

Hi,

I went over a pothole near work today (stupid thing has gotten bigger over the winter and I usually avoid it but went right in). It scraped the bumper a little on the front and on the underside.
Thanfully no damage to rims or anything. It's not visible if you stand right next to the car, but from a few feet away you can see it. I plan on lowering the car in may, so I don't really want to spend money b/c I feel like I will scrape plenty more when it's lowered....
So two questions. First, for those who are lowered, how much do you really scrape driving normally (like going over speedbumps, accidental potholes etc)?
And, is there anything I can do for now that will make it look a little better. Basically it's right in the plastic with some deep gashes. I was thinking just evening out and putting touchup paint (already did this with a few rockchips using drcolorchip, but I'm not sure whether it would work in this case).
Thx for advice!

See pic (lol the car is pretty dirty but u can see the scrapes on the lower edge of the bumper). jeez looking at the pic i think i'm just being **** about this since you can hardly see it, but that's what happens when u drive a car like the G : )

Touch up paint would probably be good enough. If its not too visible don't be worrying about it too much, otherwise you'll be freaking out when you're lowered.

I have a lip and the bottom is pretty much scraped up from the times where I just don't go slow enough up certain ramps. Doesn't bother me, as long as my lip doesn't crack then I don't care if its not visible unless I'm looking under my car.

Im lowered and ive scratched the front on speed bumps a few times. Ive hit it with some Megs 105/205 polish to lighten up the scratches, and then Ive filled in the deeper grooves with touch up paint. Cant even notice them now unless you get on your knees and get really close to the paint down there.

I'm only on H-Techs (08 coupe) and I scrape EVERYTHING except the smallest speed bumps. Every time in and out of my driveway that black lip under the bumper cover scrapes. Speedbumps killed my flex joints in the magnaflow exhaust - they were leaking badly enough for me to cut them out and weld in new straight pipe. Ugh! I was just wondering if everybody else scraped as much as me. Geeze, it's only like a 1 inch drop!!

I'm on BC coilovers now lowered to an eibach level drop. No scraping issues yet, but honestly with all the rock chips and crap that gets on my bumper I'm going to just swap it out for a sport bumper after next winter.

Maybe u just have worse roads....how far off the ground are you? I'm thinking the springs are also more bouncy so u bounce into the potholes and speed bumps more and thus scrape
