Good detailer in South Orange County?

So I parked my car under a frickin palm tree today, and after 30 minutes I walk out and there's about 30 bird sh*ts on my hood/fenders. This is my 10 day old Blue Slate G37. So stoked. I got it off quick but I can still see the marks on the clear coat.

Any recommendations for detailers near Irvine or Laguna?

Thanks.

John

why not get some Zaino or other quality polish and try doing it yourself?

John,

Sorry to hear that news. It sounds like the sap may have etched in to the clear coat. It will likely need to be polished to remove those imperfections in the clear coat. This is something you can do yourself or a professional can do. If you would like trying to tackle this yourself I'd be happy to help. It's possible a light polish applied by hand will do the trick, but if they are bad you may need move up to a high speed polisher and stronger polishes. If you would like a professional to check it out I'd HIGHLY recommend Eric from Envious Auto Detailing | Orange County, CA - Home. He does outstanding work and you can see his detailing expertise here - Eric Schuster – Detailed Image. Take care!

Thanks a bunch guys. I just bought a house this weekend, and I'm already planning on the orbital buffer. Obvis, I'll PM you this week... you too Detailed (not sure on what you do but I'll check it out).

Yeah I tried a little bit but I don't have good polish... I need better products.

John,

Congratulations on the new house, I'm looking to buy my first this summer as well. I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself, my name is Greg and I'm the owner of Detailed Image - Premium Auto Detailing Supplies. We used to run a high end detailing service but now we are just running our online store with top quality detailing supplies. We specialize in helping customers pick out the products that best meet your specific needs. If you need help picking out some more effective polishes for your orbital buffer please let me know. If interested just let me know what specific buffer and pads you already have and more about your detailing goals. Take care!

i'm also looking for a shop to do exterior detailing, maintenence for me. I've read all the posts on what to use and how to do it, I just don't have the time or equipment to do it myself.

the site on Envious Auto's service looks really good, looks like i'm a little out of his area though, being north of LA. Are there any shops in glendale/burbank/pasadena that are known for good work?
