I'm curious though, WHY is it illegal to have self service gas stations in Jersey? What's the reason for that? Full service is extremely rare in most places and has been for many years.
The law has been around forever - since around 1949 - and exists for "safety" reasons, but it's really only there for job creation.

I believe they have the same law in Oregon. Stupid law, wastes a lot of time waiting for the attendant to come by.
