Looks great, that BO is really popping! Btw, I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of fixing your IMG tags.

great stuff. Just did mine, which is the same color, and it looks very similar. I didn't polish it though.

Is it ok to do the clay THEN wash? I did wash -> clay -> wash

Although not always necessary, washing, claying, washing is definitely ok.

what technique did you use with the scratchshield?

i've polished all of my own cars but those were all with conventional clearcoat.

i have a PC 7424, did you use this or a flex?

what speed did you find worked best?

thanks!

This was a 2010 model. It did not have the Scratch Shiled

Use the PC

For cutting speed 4.5 and medium movement.

For polishing speed 5 and slow movment

welcome

I am pretty sure that's a 2009 model in those pics.

Make sure you actually levelled the clear rather than temporarily filling swirls with oils in the polish. Did you do an isopropyl alcohol wipedown after polishing to remove oils? The reason I'm asking is because it typically takes speed 5-6 and some pressure to get cut with a PC, and you'd maybe move 1"/second to get it to happen.

That said, I have a 2010 as well, and the clear on this paint polishes MUCH better than the 2009 did.
