Cleaning the Interior Roof

Hey guys,

Stupid me. A can of soda exploded in the back seat of my G. The leather is clean, but I haven't gotten around to cleaning the stains off the interior roof. Any suggestions on how to clean it without spending tons of money?

I wouldn't try to steam clean, I would imagine you would loosen up the glue. You might have to paint it with headliner paint or just get new material all together.

^ It is cleanable... I've had grease on mine and gotten it out.

Try 303 Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner from Detailed Image. It's done wonder for me on many different types of stains.

Never done it myself, but have heard good things from others. It sounds like there is a lot of soda if it exploded. Using a cleaner might reduce the glue because the headliner is so paper thin. It's not like a car seat or carpet which is what those cleaners are for. I personally would replace if it's that bad.

303 Cleaner & Spot Remover will do the trick. Just make sure you dab and blot the dirty area with the cleaner as opposed to rubbing the headliner.

if that doesn't work for you Omar - try Awesome cleaner. I'm not kidding - you get it at the 99 cent store and it gets EVERYTHING out - seriously
in the 35 a can of wood stain leaked in my trunk on a job and this stuff got ALL of it out from the trunk mat. try it on something inconspicuous first so you feel safe using it on the car
