this product has worked wonders for me for scratches (as long as the paint is not off) but when you mean swirls do you mean from like car wash? scratchx is for specific scratches, not to do like a quarter panel of your car.

ah okay, that answered my questions. I cant seem to find swirlx anywhere. I have 2-3 quite long scratchs on my drivers side door, they arent very deep, will i be able to take them out with the scratchx? or will it just give me scratchs everywhere around the actualy scratch as well (like a compound). My car is black.

that site has good information, i just dont have access to a buffer at the moment. My question is does scratchx remove scratchs without creating 100 little ones?

If it made scratches in the process of removing them then it would be pointless. All scratchX is is pretty much a light polish. I've used it numerous times to get out very light single scratches. Like if someone walked past your car and just got a little too close. It's good for spot treatment but I would not recommend doing an entire body panel with it.

ScratchX works great. IT won't fix paint, but it will remove scratches and swirls. If you have large swirls getting a DA polisher will be easier. You can ScratchX your entire car and it will help, but you'll wear out your arms. It's made to be used by hand and requires a decent pressure to work.

So remember to push hard! Just don't dent the surface.
