Help Gunk on Silver Trim on outside door
Gunk on Silver Trim on outside door
Hello,
I did my first cleaning last night. Used the ONR product. It went well, but not great. Took me 2.5 hours, which included a quick tire job and the door jams. Need to get that a bit faster considering the interior took me 2.5 hours the night before.
Anyways, while cleaning, I noticed something on the Silver Trim of the outside rear passenger door. At first I thought it was some kind of damage because it was a dull gray. After taking some ONR to it and scrubbing a little, it started to come off. The problem was, I scrubbed for about 15 minutes and still could not get it all off. In fact, I might have put a scratch or two in. Not sure.
So, what should I do to clean this?
Is there a better product for this?
Something a little stronger than ONR?
What is the trim exactly (plastic, chrome, etc)? The car is the 09 G37 XS.
Thanks for the help. Charlie.

Try some degreaser, like OPT Power Clean: Optimum (OPT) Power Clean - 17 oz | Detailed Image
